CareSens Air Sessions

Session 1

Beyond Data: The Evolution of CareSens Air

Continuous glucose monitoring generates a vast amount of glucose data, but data alone does not always lead to better decisions. CareSens Air continues to evolve beyond glucose readings to support a more connected care experience for people with diabetes and healthcare professionals. This session will introduce key updates planned for the coming months and offer a preview of CareSens Air 2, the next-generation CGM scheduled for launch in early 2027, featuring a smaller, lighter form, extended sensor life, and a redesigned user app.

Session 2

Beyond the Numbers, Into the Patterns

HbA1c is an important measure of overall glucose control, but it does not reveal the full picture of glucose variability. Even patients with an acceptable HbA1c may experience significant postprandial glucose spikes. This session will explore how CareSens Air glucose readings, combined with Samsung Health lifelog data on exercise, diet, sleep, and daily activity, can uncover the patterns behind the numbers and provide a more complete view of daily glucose management.

Beyond Clinical Evidence: Education and Support for Effective CGM Use

Clinical performance is essential, but effective CGM use in routine practice depends on more than evidence alone. Practical product training, patient education, structured troubleshooting, and integration into clinical workflows can help healthcare professionals overcome real-world barriers. This session will review evidence supporting structured CGM education, share a practical implementation example from South Korea, and introduce educational resources and programs developed for healthcare professionals and people with diabetes.
